This site is about life in The Olden Days (1940 - ) in a small town called Cadishead, near Manchester, England, from the perspective of a family of children living there at that time.
It deals with their lifestyle, play, schooling, technology, telephones and communication systems, transport, our language, and much more. It follows their early experiences, and the changes they saw, and are still seeing, in their lifetimes, both in England and, later, in Australia.
